Blackburn’s Mehreen Fronts Blackburn University Centre Recruitment CampaignBlackburn graduate Mehreen Alli plays a starring role in Blackburn University Centre’s new Reinvent Yourself recruitment campaign.

Mehreen works in an Early Years setting and decided to retrain and boost her career prospects in the sector by studying BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies at Blackburn University Centre. She enjoyed it so much that she has decided to stay on to do her PGCE.

She shared her positive experience and journey at Blackburn University Centre to encourage potential students to retrain at the Higher Education provider and ‘reinvent themselves’.

Mehreen, 30, said: “I really enjoyed working in an early years setting and understood the sector – so I decided to do the Early Childhood Studies degree at Blackburn University Centre.

“I absolutely loved it and found the experience to be fantastic. The tutors were really supportive and encouraged me to give 100% to everything that I did on the course. I enjoyed the experience so much that I stayed on to do my PGCE!”
