Sites such as the ones listed here will help you research learning and training options, different jobs and what type of work is in your area.

It’s a good idea to keep a list of the different jobs you have thought about and the advantages and disadvantages of these. You should research the following things to help you make your decisions:

Kudos is a Career Matching Package. It will help you find out your likes and dislikes and then match you to careers you maybe be suitable for. To register:

  1. Visit the Kudos website
  2. Once you have got to the main screen, you need to sign up - this is in the bottom right hand side.
  3. You need to enter the Licence Code – contact or 01254 292929 for details
  4. Once you have done this, you can create an account.


Start is a free, online careers platform, designed to connect 11-18 year olds with their future career potential. It includes a comprehensive range of activities to help guide young people through their options.

Visit the Start website and take sort quizzes that will help you to think about what career would be best for you.
