Sania spoke positively about her experience of studying her practical Professional Cookery Level 3 course from home during national Coronavirus lockdown periods.

Sania said: “Our tutors were really supportive and explained everything in detail. They helped us get the best possible experience of learning at home online, even though our course is mainly based on practical work.

“My favourite assignment was the eggs Florentine task. I learned how to record and edit a recipe video demonstration, which are actually key skills when cooking a high standard dish.

“At times it could be difficult and challenging but I stayed motivated and powered through plenty of written assignments at home. However, I really wanted to get back into the College kitchens and cook!

“Overall, it was an amazing experience and I particularly enjoyed the virtual team tasks we completed together.”
