FdA Coaching and Mentoring
- Studied: FdA Coaching and Mentoring
"I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two years on this course - I have learnt so much not only about Coaching and Mentoring but also about myself and have had so much support. I feel like I have come such a long way in two years. I would not be where I am today without the support I have received.
The course was fantastic - I was made to feel important right from the start and felt that the tutors believed in me from the minute I walked through the door. I cannot praise the tutors enough, they were amazing.
The modules were really interesting and taught me so much, giving me a great insight into Coaching and Mentoring and I had a great bunch of class friends, we all worked together as a team.
When I originally came to Blackburn College to ask about courses, I was welcomed with open arms. From the day I enrolled to the day I graduate, I have felt nothing but support from everyone at the College. Coming to Blackburn College changed my life - I have learned so much and the facilities are great and you are just fully supported.
Now that I have finished my Foundation Degree in Coaching and Mentoring (FdA), I am going to continue to the BA (Hons) Top Up Year to complete the Honours Degree. In the future, I hope to continue to grow in confidence and work within schools, mentoring children. I want to use all of the knowledge and skills that I have learned at the University Centre at Blackburn College to help children grow in confidence and develop their self-belief, and to help them understand themselves and who they are.
I would absolutely recommend the University Centre at Blackburn College to others - if you want to feel fully supported and given the chance to learn and achieve your potential then this is the place to study. Everyone is there for you, to help you, to give you all the guidance for you to gain your degree. All we have to do is take the opportunities and I have never felt so proud of myself.
