“The knowledge and experience of the lecturers at Blackburn was, I believe, instrumental in my passing of the relevant exams."

Ross said: “When I started a paralegal role with my employer I had no legal qualifications and they offered to support me in my studies. They offered me a choice of providers and I chose to study my CILEx Level 6 at Blackburn College.

“The knowledge and experience of the lecturers at Blackburn College was, I believe, instrumental in my passing of the relevant exams. The small group size and the ability to have practical discussion with lecturers enabled me to understand the course content significantly easier than if I had studied via distance learning.

“After achieving my CILEx Level 6 I was accepted as a Chartered Legal Executive and as a direct consequence I have secured job offers and promotions. moving from a Paralegal to a Principal Legal Officer to a Lawyer.”
