As a student at Blackburn University Centre you are automatically a member of our Students’ Union.

Although our Students’ Union is small we try to cater to everyone. We have a number of Students’ Union Officers who are elected each year and a full-time Students’ Union President to support you.

Settling in

Of course, loads of activities happen to help you settle into life in Higher Education too.

Before you start at Blackburn University Centre you’ll be sent information about your induction which will be your first port of call to find out about all the activities that will take place in your first few weeks.

When you become a student Blackburn University Centre you will automatically become a member of the Students’ Union. However, you can opt out if you wish to do so.

Opting out means that you will be unable to access the Students' Union resources and support should you need guidance with academic misconduct, mitigating circumstances or raising a grievance.
