Supporting University Centre at Blackburn College
- Be a Student Mentor
Once you have embarked upon your graduate career you may like to give back to a student at UCBC by becoming an Employer Mentor. This scheme will match you up with a mentee from UCBC to help them develop the skills and experience employers need. We will help put you in touch with a student for you to contact.
For the student it’s an opportunity to network and expand career opportunities and will help them to plan their own business if you are self-employed as well as giving the student an insight into an organisation. You may review a student’s CV, covering letter and application forms or help with work shadowing opportunities at your employer, for example.
For more information contact our Employability Hub on 01254 29 25 00 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
